What is Planet Maker?
Planet Maker is an After Effects project file in which you can design and animate a planet. Basically it is a composition with a planet in it and an organized list of 70+ animatable options.




You can customize the planet’s orientation, lighting, terrain, water, rivers, atmosphere, clouds, volcanism, craters, city lights and debris ring in various ways. It uses procedural effects, which means that you can create practically unlimited unique variations.

Additionally there are 6 space images that you can use for backgrounds and there is even an option to adjust our planet Earth, based on geographic bitmaps.



There are also 4 presets to help you on your way.



How to use Planet Maker?
Step 1: Design your planet
Step 2: Animate it (or keep it as a still)
Step 3: Render it

Your imagination is the only limit. And of course this template naturally performs best on a powerful computer system. However, there are options included to minimalize the workload temporarily.
